I have quit coffee many times, usually because my doctor tells me that it's bad for my anxiety. "But I only drink one small cup a day!" I insist. Yet slowly my sleep erodes and my anxiety spikes until I come to the same conclusion: I need to quit.

Inspired by diner-style coffee decanters and their decaf-indicating "safety orange", this pot features a blast of juicy green ash and an underglaze pattern of an electric stove element on the bottom.

While the glazes used are food safe, I'd suggest this pot would be better utilized as a sculptural object or vase.
